The site's content — island profiles, guides, the Atoll journal and the market record — is provided for general information and orientation. Profiles are compiled from public record and attributed; they are not offers, listings or advice, and are subject to the disclaimer.

Some material sits behind a Charthouse membership. Membership, where taken, is governed by the pricing and terms shown at the point of sign-up. Members' material is for the member's own personal use and may not be copied, redistributed or published without our prior written consent.

When you register an account, submit an enquiry, register an island or subscribe to the Tide Letter, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

We may update the site, its guides, its data and these terms at any time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Privacy Policy

Who we are. This is the privacy policy for the website at https://privateisland.pro. It explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect. If you create an account we store your name, email address and a securely hashed password. If you send an enquiry, register an island or request a dossier, we store the details you submit so a person can reply. If you subscribe to the Tide Letter we store your name and email address for that purpose only. Our server keeps standard access logs.

Cookies and local storage. When you sign in we set a single session cookie (httpOnly) so the site knows you are logged in; it holds no personal data beyond the session reference. Your browser's local storage is used for conveniences such as your light or dark theme, your watchlist and unsent form drafts — this stays on your device. We run no third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and the site makes no calls to third-party services to render its pages.

How we use it, and who we share it with. We use what you give us to answer you, to run your account and, if you have asked for it, to send the Tide Letter. Enquiry and island-registration details reach our office only. We do not sell your data. A password-reset email is sent only to the address on the account when a reset is requested.

Retention and your rights. We keep account and enquiry data for as long as it is needed to provide the service or as the law requires. You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to erase it, subject to anything we are obliged to keep. The Tide Letter can be left in one click when it opens.
